Life's a Dance: Life in 30 years...

Life's a Dance: Life in 30 years...: I've read many lists recently about what someone should have experienced by the time they turn 30. I've decided I'd rather create my own "li...

Does Christmas sneak up on you too?

Christmas is fast approaching! If you're anything like me, it will sneak up behind you, poke you in the side and you'll scratch your head wondering where the time has gone and how can it possibly be December, let alone, Christmas!? Thanksgiving has come and gone, along with all the leftovers, and now I must really get on with my Christmas shopping. Jeepers, I almost forgot the Christmas decorations, and the cookies! Somewhere along the way I must get cards for my family members that are spread around the country and let them know that they are in our hearts this holiday season, as well as all year round! And then of course, there's always the pre-Christmas parties. Oh, wait, what am I going on about? We don't do all that partying, we leave that up to the younger generation. :-)
I've also been busy adding new wrap bracelets to my Bonanza site. I was looking for something new to make and saw them on a website and was blown away by the price! I researched them a bit, taught myself how to make them, decided that if I could do them at a more reasonable price, I could add them to my Bonanza site and share them with others looking for last minute gifts. And, as an added bonus, they're fun to make and the designs are endless. You can have words, names or phrases of your choice, knotted closures, button closures, and a variety of choices such as leather or suede to trap your beads between. You can also have a single, double, or triple wrap and even more if you choose. Of course, the price does increase as the wraps increase and according to the beads that are used. However, I always try to keep my items affordable for everyone. ;-)  Here's a sample of just a few:
Triple wrap bracelet
single wrap button closure

If you click on my site you can take a look at everything I have listed. I hope you find something that tickles your fancy.
Now, I better get busy on my list of things I must get done in the next 22 days.  A Very Merry Christmas to all!!

I'm Back!

I'm always amazed at how quickly and easily I get side tracked and run off course for days and months at a time! Back in May I put my Bonanza booth on vacation because I was going to go on vacation for a few weeks. I went to see my brother in Seattle and from there we visited my son and his family in Montana  and then returned to Seattle and stayed there for another week long visit. I love both places and always hate leaving my family behind when I return home.
After returning home I  had my Grandson with me for the summer while my daughter worked and in order to give him lots of love and care I decided to just wait till school started again to put my booth back up for business.
Well, here it is, just one week till school starts, (jeepers the summer slid by quickly!) and I'm ready to jump back into the cyber world. I opened my booth last week and only have a few items there right now but will continue to add more as time permits. I check on things every day and as we move into our Fall and Winter months I'll be around even more! We still have a lot of lovely days ahead and I'm going to enjoy each and everyone!

2 Special Bonanza friends

I'd like to showcase 2 special Bonanza friends. Jazzy and Calcedonia. Both of these ladies take great pride in their handcrafted items and you won't go wrong doing business with them.
This first item is from Jazzy

Jazzy handcrafts all her jewelry items and is very particular about her work. If she’s not pleased with something she’ll take it apart and start over until it meets her standards. If you need something customized just ask and she’ll be happy to help you.

Next is Calcedonia

This adorable handcrafted blue and white  ensemble comes from Calcedonia and is fitted for 18inch dolls, American Girl or Springfield collection. All of  Calcedonia’s items are unique and one of a kind.  Stop by and see her scarves and hats for big girls too!
Calcedonia also does customized work and is a joy to know.
